What is Helmets to Hardhats?
Helmets to Hardhats is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry.  The Pennsylvania Chapter works very closely with the National program, but focuses its attention on the Veterans, Guardsmen and Reservists residing in or returning to the State of Pennsylvania.

What is the Purpose of the Pennsylvania Chapter?
The Pennsylvania Chapter has a program director who provides additional coordination, promotion, and career counseling to Veterans, Guardsmen and Reservists residing in or returning to the State of Pennsyvlania. The Pennsylvania Chapter works in partnership with the building and construction trades council.

Is There a Cost to Participate in This Program?
NO, Helmets to Hardhats is FREE for military members. The Pennsylvania Chapter of the Helmets to Hardhats program is funded by a grant from the Department of Labor & Industry for Work Force Development. This grant is administered by the Pennsylvania State Building and Construction Trades Council.
